With affordable housing, endless outdoor and cultural activities, and excellent public school options, demographics continue to change to a younger, more family-oriented area with families attending from Missouri all the way south to Fayetteville and every town in between. Our parish is now a blend of longtime members, younger families, and members who seek a spiritual relationship with God.

Our doors are open and our congregation is welcoming.

We are an active parish and celebrate two Sunday Services. Our 8:00 AM service follows the traditional language of the Rite I liturgy while the 10:30 AM service uses the more contemporary language of Rite II.  Several times each year our parish will have a combined service, alternating between Rite I and Rite II.

On the fourth Sunday of each month, St. Theodore’s provides afternoon services at Concordia, a senior living facility here in Bella Vista.

Morning prayers are also offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the church. Stations of the Cross is available every Wednesday during Lent. Our Sunday Services are enhanced by a strong musical ministry and beautiful pipe organ.

St. Theodore’s is a church that reaches out to the community and its congregation. We have many ministries such as the Comfort Food ministry, volunteering at Helping Hands, our People in Need ministry, as well as Caring and Sharing which provides gifts for people in need during the Christmas holiday. One of our newest outreach initiatives has been the 8th Street Motel Ministry, making and serving a hot meal to individuals and families trying to get back on their feet. We also support victims of disaster by providing cleanup buckets.

St. Theodore’s members are working as a team to ensure our church is strong and operations continue as normal. We have learned that a strong Rector who is confident in making change and will work for growth is needed to lead our parish.

We are looking for a full-time Rector who will come in with new, progressive ideas, and with compassion, to move us in the direction of the church of the future. With clear expectations from a strong leader, St. Theodore’s will respond to the changes needed to live out our mission.
