Columbarium

On  September 18, 1994 our beautiful new columbarium, the first in Bella Vista, was completed and blessed.

It has become the model columbarium in Bella Vista with many churches in the area using it as a prototype when designing their own.

In 2008, committee members Bess LeFevre, Father Parks, and Ministry Chair Al Addington met and identified several opportunities in our Columbarium area.  With the growth of the church, a plan to expand the area and offer more spaces for burials is necessary. In addition the scattering area had become overgrown . 

A meeting was held with Larry Hedberg, the original landscape architect for the columbarium area.  Mr. Hedberg agreed to assist us and drew up plans for an annex to the current Columbarium area, which was presented at a combined work day and vestry meeting. The vestry accepted the plan and worked that day cleaning up the scattering area.

In 2009 our hope is to get new plantings in the scattering area and get started on the rock work.
