"What can we do" is a very different question from "what can I do".
So many projects can be so much more effective only through coordinated efforts. I think we are seeing this at St. Theodore's with our recycling. Sad to say there are some items that we cannot yet recycle, so here are a few ideas for these and other things we have in our homes.
I buy my milk from Braum’s. I love their paper bags and re-use them many times for groceries. They can also be used for wrapping packages, and are especially good for mailing items. Children can cut them up into placemats to use in restaurants.
Baby jars make really nice small containers for putting flowers in to give to friends or take to the elderly. Just put a bow on one, or use your imagination and paint a flower to decorate.
We all have odd socks. Use them as dusting rags. They fit over one’s hand very nicely. I use mine to make sock toys for my dogs.
I'm sure you have other ideas and I would love to hear them.
