St. Theodore's gathered together on February 9, our final night before Lent for a fabulous feast of chicken, sausage, and shrimp gumbo. Many thanks to Anthony Milam and Jerry Krist for spearheading this new event that will certainly become a beloved tradition for our members. Anthony, Jerry, and their wonderful assistants put on a tremendous meal for a large crowd, complete with Zydeco music and authentic King Cakes from Louisiana. We finished off the evening with our own Mardi Gras parade!
There was no charge for the fun evening, but donations were accepted to offset the cost and to help fund Father Will's discretionary fund.
We are grateful for such a fun evening to lead us into the penitential season of Lent, which begins on February 10 with Ash Wednesday.
